P-Town with the Ladies

Cedar Angles
Originally uploaded by Jukeboy
Recently, Mr. T and I enjoyed a fun-filled week with our two favourite Pittsburghers. H Dawg and Catty Natty, kept us entertained, and our bellies happy in between grueling shopping expeditions, naps, and of course beach time. This shot is taken from the bedroom window of our rental. I just loved all of the different angles and the typical cedar shakes: so very Cape Cod!

Through the Looking Glass

The background, we did not conquer. The foreground, we did. Simon and I took an early morning excursion down to the Canada Maltage Silos on the Lachine canal. Our attempts to get in were futile; however, there were other vacancies in the vicinity. This shot was taken from inside an abandoned garage, kitty-corner the silos. Smells like a future condo project to me!
On a side note, the building is considered a heritage site, because it contains the only standing terracotta silos in North America. Who knew?

Sleepy Mr. T

Back in '08, we went up to Grand lake with C&S. It was a super fun and relaxing weekend. It seems funny to write about a weekend that happened two years ago, since so much has changed. One thing that remains the same is my husband's propensity to nap -- behind his (dirty!) glasses.

Mexican Souvenir

Okay, maybe not exactly a souvenir that we brought back from Mexico, but rather a souvenir of Mexico -- because you know all the babies wear ponchos, right? This is little Oscar at nine months at a Mexican themed dinner that we had chez nous.

Pre-Storm Afternoon Light

Caught some crazy light on my way home from work the other day. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me, but I did have my iPhone that fantastic new app that makes any photo look fab.
